Dear Families,
Discover our personalized solution to exceptional staffing
Nannease was founded on the simple truth: Nothing is more important than your home and the tiny, nap-resistant humans within it. As the only household staffing agency in the nation that is owned and operated by a licensed clinician (LSW) and certified school counselor (C-SSWS), we take immense pride in providing bespoke nanny and household management solutions throughout the United States that are rooted in a deep respect for the elevated standards of your individual family.
About the owner
Megan Wolff, MSW, LSW, C-SSWS
With over two decades of hands-on experience in private childcare and a formal education in clinical social work, Megan brings a unique blend of professional insight, emotional intelligence, and heart to every aspect of Nannease. A former nanny herself, Megan has devoted her career to understanding the nuances of an ideal match between nanny and family, with the ultimate goal of ensuring nurturing, joy-filled home environments for the children growing up in them.
Megan’s experience teaching in a Montessori classroom continues to inform her work, from how she evaluates caregivers to how she supports families in fostering independence and curiosity in their children. Megan holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (clinical track) from Rutgers University and is a certified school social worker, credentialed by the NASW. She brings a social-emotional, human development lens to her work in leading childcare searches for discerning families with the highest standards.
At Nannease, the mission is simple: to elevate the nanny placement experience by honoring the individuality, values and goals of both families and caregivers. Nannease operates with the understanding that a placement agency is a luxury service. As such, Megan and her team are committed to providing an experience defined by excellence.
What do these services cost?
$375 Commencement fee reserves your place with us. When (and only if/when) you hire a nanny through us, the placement fee is equal to 15% of the nanny’s anticipated annual income.
What if we sign on for a search, but don’t end up hiring a nanny through your agency?
The initial $375 you paid is not refundable. Otherwise, there are no additional fees.
What if things with the nanny we hire don’t work out?
We offer an unheard of 12 month replacement guarantee (because we’re that confident in our matching process). If at any point in the first year with your nanny things don’t work out, we will do a replacement search at no cost.
How much should we be offering to pay our awesome future nanny?
It depends on location, experience and responsibilities of the job. The range is approximately $25-$45/hour.
Do you support families beyond the initial nanny match?
From setting up payroll for your nanny to running annual review conversations (and everything in between), we are here to support you. Our goal: This is the most straightforward, stress-free process of your child-rearing lives.
Why would we pay to go through an agency when we could just try to find a nanny on our own?
This is the million $9,000 question.
1. Securing wonderful nannies while sorting through the rest is what. we. do. We can spot a fake resume from a mile away, and know exactly what to ask references to gauge their legitimacy. While we LOVE meeting amazing nannies, we celebrate the identification of fraudulent ones even more because it means we’re doing our job with the scrupulous tenacity that it demands.
2. Known for advocating for the rights of caregivers while serving families with excellence, reputable agencies end up attracting the most qualified nannies who know that they’re more likely to land their dream job (and be supported throughout) when they utilize this medium for employment. As the presence of agencies has increased over the years, there has been a shift: Excellent nannies often secure employment through companies like Nannease, while others who can’t pass the screening processes may end up looking for jobs on their own. It’s a bit like… natural selection, for childcare providers.
